Modern small plates inspired by our East African and Indian roots

A NEIGHBOURHOOD RESTAURANT CREATING UNIQUE FLAVOURS USING SEASONAL AND LOCAL INGREDIENTS

our story

In 1972 the president of Uganda, Idi Amin, announced that all Asians had 90 days to leave their homeland. Among the exiles were my parents, and although they only took a single suitcase, they brought culture and cooking from two continents. Our food takes inspiration from this unique cultural heritage and is still evolving today

our space

We are an intimate 24 seater space with an open kitchen and plenty of atmosphere. We use locally sourced ingredients to make vibrant and creative food complimented by a handpicked selection of wines, local beers and kitgum cocktails created by our chef tom. We also love eclectic music and enjoy selecting favorite tunes though-out the night.

Expect good food, good music and good vibes.
