our story

In 1972, when Idi Amin expelled all Asians from Uganda, my parents were among 60,000 forced to leave. They carried one suitcase — and recipes rooted in Gujarat’s Persian heritage, shaped in East Africa, and adapted over years in the UK.  Centuries of change, still evolving here in Brighton.

our space

We are an intimate 22 seater space with an open kitchen and plenty of atmosphere. We make vibrant and creative food complimented by a handpicked selection of wines, local beers and kitgum cocktails. We also love eclectic music and enjoy selecting favorite tunes though-out the night.

Expect good food, good music and good vibes.
